New work

Lis's website design for a fashion client in SF.

Neighborhood Flare

Our neighborhood is a very unique place. Down our street is a little corner called 5 mile. It has a super breakfast spot called the Cadillac Cafe, a coffee house that serves organic blends and baked  treats, a mexican place which we have yet to try, and a pet supply company. We are close to many farms for fresh local produce and a town called Corralitos which is where you can find the best market in town with over 60 home made smoked meats. A true deli.

A Jaunt to the beach with Luce

Thursday was beautiful and we took a break from organizing and enjoyed the beach with Luce. She LOVES the sand and chasing birds through the water. Dog heaven.

Architectural gem

Skies cleared on Wed. afternoon and allowed the beauty of the house to start to surface. Exposed wood beams and brick hold so much history. The summer retreat was hand built in the 1940's and designed by the wife of a dentist in San Francisco. It was their summer mountain get away. The designer was obviously influenced by Frank Lloyd Wright and it is a unique living area for creative inspiration and craftsmanship.

Night Shots

Warm fires while we unpacked and lit up every lamp in the house. The house is amazing at night.  The outdoors and indoors are one. If only we had some sunshine....

Rains for the first 6 days

We arrived to 6 days of cold rain. These were taken before we were hit too hard. The first photo was taken from the top of the Christmas tree hill looking down. The second is the living area in progress...

Hilltop Grazers

Heading towards Santa Cruz after some relaxin. Only 3 more hours till we get to our new place.

Magical Lands

After we got through LA a few hours later, we had a magical lands waiting for us. Breathtaking views and clean air.

Drove through LA at 5:30 AM

Today we woke up and headed to and through LA trying to beat rush hour...or atleast befriend it. Full Moon.

Arizona

Luce heading for shelter as more storms come our way in Arizona. CA state line not too far...keep going. Just need to find ways to entertain ourselves.

Boulders in New Mexico

Monday we drove about 700 miles and crossed New Mexico and Arizona. The day started off beautiful in New Mexico and got hasty as the day went on.

Not your ordinary gas station

Getting gas in New Mexico was an artistic and historical treat. Attached to the store was a all-star mural of the "Old Wild West". The viewing of this fine art is 100% entertaining.

Union Pacific

Passed this old Union Pacific with graffiti coloring the old rust. Like it.

The many personalities of Luce

Luce has been a trooper. She has shown us her many personalities along the way. She sleeps, destructs, or hangs out. Any of the 3.

Sunny New Mexico

Woke up to a sunny  Monday in New Mexico. The landscape has changed dramatically. Bright yellow grasses with mountains nestled behind fields that seems to go on forever. Railroad tracks and cactus. We are West.

THE storm

We drove right into this orange cloud of dust and rain shortly after our stop. 50 MPH winds. We made it out after an hour and a half. This ended our 750 miles trek across Texas.

Before the storm

Sunday's drive from Austin to El Paso was a one of a kind experience. We knew something was brewing when we stopped and could barely push our car doors open.

Austin Friends

Stayed with Austin Friends and ate hot mexican food and enjoyed the city's colorful vibe.  Good to see old friends and catch up in the warmth of the texan air.
